25 Years Ago Today— Recount’s The Colonel’s first 25 years during the invasion. He played music till The Shroud attacked when he was 17. He and his friend /love interest Lucy fled L.A. and escaped in time to watch it burn. Before they got very far Lucy was abducted (Pale Light) and the to be Colonel almost gives in to madness and despair. One of the underground human resistance tribes finds our young protagonist and takes him in. There he becomes a talented guerrilla fighter in the struggle against The Shroud on Earth. The Colonel and his men work to unite the various resistance forces across the country and eventually the planet. Their conglomeration is dubbed “The Tribes”. Though The Colonel is respected by his men and feared by their enemy, he still must move up the political ladder with bribery. He is a master of combat but becomes, at times, overly attached to green bloodshed and amphetamines.
